Best of our TU Independent Blogs, January 12 2017: Ten for Thursday

This is what happens when you can’t sleep.  You wake up, you write a blog and you go back to bed.

I do this on occasion.  I mean, what else can you do at 2:30 in the morning?

And since it’s Thursday, I figured I’d take care of this week’s blog recap of the Times Union’s best and brightest independent and community bloggers…

Not that doing so would return me to slumber, but at least doing this now will hopefully allow me to sleep a little later in the day.

So instead of yammering about my somnambulism, let’s get started with the recap, shall we?

And this week’s blog recap includes …

  1. Andy Gregory’s “CRUMBS” local music blog, “Your Band Doesn’t Matter in the 2017 Times Union Best Of Poll” (and its follow-up, “UPDATE – Your Band Means Much More Now in the 2017 Times Union Best Of Poll“) (read these first)
  2. Richard Guthrie’s “Birding” blog, “The Little White Goose.
  3. Lale Davidson’s “Out of the Ordinary” blog, “Aging with love.
  4. Roger Green’s “Information Without the Bun” blog, “The landlord who stole Christmas.
  5. Donna McMullen’s blog, “Made in America with Pride.
  6. Jaye McBride’s blog, “The latest addition(s) to my world.
  7. Susanne Marie Poulette’s blog, “Victory by fear.
  8. Heather Fazio’s blog, “The Golden Globes were on last night?  Thanks Trump.
  9. Pete Bardunias’ blog, “The Saratoga Gets Torpedoed.
  10. Rob Hoffman’s “Hoffman Files” blog, “Choosing a cult that’s right for you.

And now it’s time for me to climb back in bed and count sheep.

Great … now I’m hungry … maybe I’d better count lamb chops instead. 😀

Have a great day, everybody!
